As part of our consultation programme for the Hydrogen Village in Whitby, Ellesmere Port, we recently held the second of two Community Information Days for local residents and businesses in the area.
Joining us at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall on 10th January were a number of industry and academic experts, who were on hand to speak to the community about a potential conversion to hydrogen for heating and cooking. They also took part in Q&A sessions on the day, where they answered questions on everything from what the purpose of the programme is, to the safe use of hydrogen in the home.
Organisations represented at the event included British Gas, Cheshire West and Chester Council, ARUP, Worcester Bosch and Electricity North West.
